Congratulations, we have a winner.!
Yes, that is precisely where SW73 was directing you towards. The R&R that you have pictured appears to be the uprated replacement version, and furthermore it looks to have been correctly installed. There were a LOT of very frustrated owners who had already had their Regulators changed (some more than once) by the time Triumph announced the recall. Many were replaced by the old type, or aftermarket variants, this does not appear to be the case on your bike.
If what they meant was that no recalls are outstanding, then it all makes sense. However if none have been actioned on your bike, then there is another very important recall that will need to be done on your bike. There is a small sub-loom that needs to be installed, that allows the fuel pump to draw power from a relay rather than through the ECU. If this is not installed, the fuel pump load can fry the ECU, as some unfortunate owners of the very first bikes discovered.
To help clarify with your Triumph Main Stealer, the part number for the sub-loom they would order & fit (FOC) for you is T2501658.
    Hth.

Wow this is so helpful thanks! Triumph originally said it wasn’t showing on their system but he called me an hour later and said the reg/rec had infact been done. So taking it to triumph for a good old health check and thorough look over next week.

  5. Welcome to the forum.

I haven't much to add in terms of what to look out for on the Gen 1 Daytona as everyone has pretty much covered it.

    Enjoy your new bike!

Just dropped you a follow back. And thank you, first spin today and she’s a dream. Running a little rich though so I assume previous owners never remapped it back to standard stock exhaust when it was changed from the upgrade. I don’t like that it doesn’t have a fuel gauge though haha. It kills my ocd not knowing :p

Haha, well just get into the habit of resetting the trip counter, you'll get between 100-150 miles per tank depending on riding style but that's a good bench mark

If you can get hold of an odb2 cable it's easy to check the map on the bike is correct yourself with the tuneecu software/app

upload_2024-1-6_22-18-40.gif Or, change the silencer for a TOR silencer (I'd lay strong odds that would have been what was on, if it had a different silencer previously).
