New Daytona owner(ish) In Derby

Discussion in 'Introductions' started by ging6996, Jun 9, 2015.

  1. Mine's a carbed '02 model (but on an '03 plate) - it runs sweet as a nut, but been down on both sides and looks quite shabby. I only use it for hacking about on and doing motogymkhana (going tonight actually!)
Piccie attached from about 2 hours before crashing it at Mallory!

  5. Think it's £140 with No limits

  6. I'll be taking the Hornet - it'll feel like a push bike round Donington!

My mate called me mad for buyin it as I've never ridden one. I hadnt even sat on one before I bought it.
    Haha.
    I'm sure I'll like it.
Just waitin for my Venturshield to arrive, so I can fit it before ridding.

Spent this evening fitting the Triumph frame sliders. Not that impressed with them.
The left hand one Realy pushes against the fairing. Is that normal?

  15. As Gary says, Have you had the Arrow remap and taken the baffle out yet, it is definitely louder than stock:mad:

No it was Thursday the 6th that I did.

Baffle is out(didn't make any difference)
    Getting mapped at first service.
I'll post the YouTube vids I made.

What other ways are there to make it louder without a 1k full Arrow system?

It's only loud once it's in gear and above 4000rpm in neutral the ex up won't open till over 8000rpm this is so it gets through static noise testing
