Hi all just thought I would say hey.
Been doin some googlin and this site has poped up a few times.

I have brought a new 675R and am waiting for it to be delivered. It's takin forever.

I've had a few bikes from my ped to a R6 to my current work horse a CB600 Hornet.

Can't wait to have a bike as a toy again.

I'm in Derby so will have to try and meet up for a ride out sometime this summer.

    Thanks Graham

  4. Welcome Graham,

Poor you, I hate waiting too, I'm rubbish at it. It'll all be worth it in the end. Mind you, no so 'poor you' soon when you have a nice new shiny toy. Mine's not as spangly new as yours, it was one of the 1st ones out of the factory in 2006, but I've loved it ever since.
Hope you don't have to wait too long.

Welcome to the site, I'm just a bit north of you and some of the other lads here in Buxton.

How much longer will you have to wait to pick up the bike?

    Welcome along :)

Take a look at the 675 fest for this year! It's not too far from you :)

  15. No, mines been great, but having said that it's never been a road bike. Brand new out of the crate straight on track. Only rusty bolts I have had were the exhaust headers, but I think that's pretty common with all bikes.

It has the odd niggle now and again, but I'd expect that with a 9 year old bike, but I try to look after him well and he continues to do me proud.

  16. Welcome Graham. I'm down the road in ilkeston matey.

Yer always up for a ride out.

It was Ment to be ready 6 weeks ago. So no idea when it will be ready. Keeps Gettin delayed week after week. Hopefully in the next week or 2.

I sold my track bike last year but I was planning on taking the Hornet(a lot cheaper than the 675) but it runs like a bag of sh1t so I've been throwing time and money at it left right and centre. If I ever get it sorted I will track that.

Tommylad what years your Hornet? Mines a 08 and it runs terrible. The throttle is really snatchy making slow ridin really difficult.

Had a look at 675fest. Might tag along for a day but need to spend all my money on the 675. Haha.

    Graham
