    Hi Guys and Girls -

I'm Matt - from Wellingborough (ish) / work in Milton Keynes.

Just bought a red 675 on an 09 plate from the good folks at PURE TRIUMPH in Wellingborough. Was all made way too easy to part with my cash! I think the sales guy saw me fall in love when I walked up to the bike - must have been the dopey look and the dribble on my chin! :)

Part-ex'd my Hornet which I was sorry to see go . . . . . until I heard that tripple! WOW.

......... just a shame that it's really not the time to be riding hard on such slick tyres. It's gonna be a long wait till spring. Until then it's lots of ACF-50 and lots of warming up the tyres! No body warned me how lively these corsas are! Def focusses the mind... and the rest of you when they let go a little!

Anyways - Hi to all, i'm sure i'll be asking some daft questions in the near future, thanks to all in advance!

Great Choice - Welcome on board - Questions are never daft, they are just facts we dont know yet, ask away.
Get out there and ride, don't worry about the weather, just enjoy.
Welcome to the club Matt

PS > ANYONE ADD's some fact about bike colour should be banned!!!!

  3. Welcome mate.

Wanna buy a Genuine Triumph Off Road (TOR) aftermarket exhaust? :D It has a carbon fibre end cap(looks best with red) one large exit instead of 3, sounds deeper and gets some nice pops and bangs on overrun with the right tune from dealer

Thanks Tony - seem to find enough attention from plod without the extra dB! Although I do like the akrap slip-on. Looking to do some longer trips next year so may be looking for a bigger screen as i'm 6 foot and there's no chance of me tucking behind the standard for more than a few miles!

Welcome aboard mate. There is something about the red Tona's that makes em stand out :)
Plenty of help and advice on here. Add yourself to the map and see who's local for meets etc.

  7. No worries Matt. Being 6ft 1 myself I found a taller screen helped too. I went for a Zero Gravity screen but there are loads available! Got pics in gallery. Good choice if you get the Akrapovic can

And that makes what difference :binge:

He has a red bike, lives an hour or so up the road to me, near Silverstone, sounds good to me!!

  11. Are we allowed to point people to other forums? I only ask because i normally go for rideouts with some guys off another forum in their cambs/eastanglia meets section and we normally meet up in Huntingdon/Brampton which isnt far from wellingborough. We're, weather permitting, heading up to Pure Triumph this weekend as it happens.

Were trying to promote more ride outs and events on here. We have a section for meets which is always a good place to post info for any event or ride from other clubs or forums or organised by anyone on here of course.
I'd actually like The Red Dog (Steffy) to be our eyes and ears in his/your area. Are you up for it Steff?

Thanks triplex. Will check out the forum tomorrow in work time! Can't ride out this Saturday mind as the other half is doing her cbt! Part of the agreement with me getting a race rep was she learnt to ride and gets her own bike. Couldn't argue with that!!

Steffy. Thanks for the thanks! Sister is single but would require a move onto a tourer or cruiser!! Likes her pies I'm afraid.
