Hi All, I need to notify my insurance that I'm now taking Insulin for diabetes. Has anyone else had to do this? If so, what should I expect? Will they put my premium up or impose restrictions? Thx.
If your insulin usage has you on a restricted license then it could affect your premiums that way perhaps?? Maybe call up another insurance company for a quote, get that quote, and then throw in "Oh, BTW I forgot to mention I'm on insulin"....and see if the quote changes???
ive recently been told im diabetic but not on insulin so far ive looked at dvla website and its not crystal clear but aslong as your under control with no dodgy episodes no restriction on normal license only hgv and psv while your adapting to the insulin my bigest issue is the idiots who done my medical for forklift there trying to restrict me but doctors are saying no issue and there over reacting
