Im a bit confused and hope someone can help. I'm building up a spare engine and want to replace the main bearing shells. I need 3 green and 1 blue. On the fowler/WOT websites they show a mumber of bearings on the crankcase section (but no indication of shell colour) or "race" shells in the accessorise section with the relevent colour codes. Are the ones on the crankcase section colour coded?

I actually enjoy the process of building them. Did you renew bearings in yours?
