i know a lot of people will disagree with me but please dont let maverick be his replacement also if they could give #46 all his trick bits for the upcoming season id be very grateful
Who'd you rather have red? Doesn't surprise me he's off, only question I've got is which Andrea will remain
just seen moto matters suggest j. rea esq and hard to argue with him tbh mate mvdm an outside bet perhaps? even #45 if he gets his arse in gear this season
I wouldn't discount both the Andreas getting the flick They have both proven that the bike is very good and they've both proven that they can't win on it and are even slower than their test rider on it. If Scott does well rest of season he could jump up, Iannone back to Pramac with Eugene Laverty who Dall'Igna holds in high regard. Would love to see Jonny Rea get a top ride in GP, he has nothing left to prove anywhere else. It's all about Maverick, Rins and Zarco and where they go. Zarco is apparently already signed for Suzuki but there's been no official confirmation. I'd read that Honda had asked if Lowes could get out of Gresini deal. Obviously to replace either Cal or Miller me thinks. Could see MVDM on Honda if Dani leaves for KTM.
Dont get me wrong I'd love to see Rea in Moto GP and he did well standing in for Stoner but I can imagine he's being paid well by Kawasaki....I wonder if they fancy making a come-back in MGP a la Suzuki....that would be good!
If Jack gets pushed out of MotoGP then there's certainly room for another aussie... Stoner and Lorenzo at Ducati? He's still the quickest Ducati rider and must be sitting at home thinking of all the good times with Ducati wishing he could take it to Yamaha and Honda... Would be interesting to see the conflicting styles of JL and Casey - and How often Stoner would leave George for dust/behind in the gravel trap....
Doesn't Pol Espargaro have a factory contract with Yamaha? He's hardly set the world alight at Tech3 though has he.
Pol and Bradley are both leaving Tech3. Pol looks set to go to Sito Pons team whihc is bidding on the 24th slot on the grid for next year.
It'd be the smart move and Rossi is no fool, and has to know his career is winding down...makes sense to leave both a legacy via a team, as well as setting himself up for a lifetime of paychecks for well...sitting around signing checks.
Just rumours I think they've said they are concentrating on expanding to moto2 with fenati and not looking at GP
A multitude of reasons the main being he seems a bit of a dickhead (/italian arrogance whatever you want to call it) and a bit of a let down when you’ve listened to the amount of people gushing over him as we have over the last 2 or 3 years and his subsequent lack of consistency and results. I think it culminated in him waving to the fans like some sort of hero when he qualified 18th or somewhere similar last year, despite having one of the best packages out there. Full blown stand up wheelies the lot. Pecco Bagnaia is a better prospect than Fenati imo.
Fenati does seem woefully inconsistent! I would liken him to melandri tbh, when things are clicking and he is is confident maybe he can win but most of the time he struggling for consistency. This would be okay in his first season but by now he should be knocking on the door regularly
Yep, can't argue with that one bit....doing well when things are NOT going your way is the hallmark of a true great, and that goes with just about anything in life.
