Just got me a 675

Hi

I just bought this http://www.bladegrouptriumph.co.uk/page ... BLUc_ldVhJ ... BGwtPldVu0 took it out for a test ride and what a bike.

Collected it today and half way home the engine started rattling then boom a big bang and a puddle of oil on the floor.

Should this happen to a bike that has only covered 12000 miles.

 

yes mate, perfectly normal for the super shit to do that

 

Don’t be alarmed when the down pipes crack, the quickshifter snaps or the reg/rec goes either.

I know its fairly new but its all part of the running in process.

 

I though the exhaust was getting louder just before the bang.

Better make sure you lube up your asscheeks, cause you've just been royally shafted

 

Surely there's a trade descriptions 'fit for purpose' argument to be had here ... I would seek citizens advice support on this one

 

Most dealerships offer a 3 month warranty and as a triumph dealer they shouldn't be any different, was in the store last week and didn't like them much mind but that's my opinion. hope you get it sorted
