that roads a nightmare bigmacs dad had a set to with a particularly feisty kwak streetfghter type rider who shot past him down the inside at high speed, dangerous as fook and you deffo have to keep your wits about you (not ideal if you dont have mirrors either lol) just been offered a room in a house just down from the creg next year - gratis, with scran thrown in too!! not sure i want to stay there yet though, was thinking of staying somewhere like port erin or somewhere quiet
Outstanding race - all of them, but to have 8 of them lapping at such speeds... From a standing start... what a race!
thats what makes the tt special people who watch bsb and never go to the tt dont understand what all the fuss is about once you go to the tt theres just nothing else comes close
Listened to the race live via the iom TT app/Manx radio player. No live pictures, but you really got the drama and intensity from the radio coverage, especially combined with the live timings for each sector on the app.
Wow watched it last night after I got home. You know I had a lot of respect for these guys before I went but when you actually ride the roads they race and see how rough and bumpy they are its mind blowing. Some people including me at times knock some riders but you can't each and everyone deserve the upmost respect.
the tt is special tt racers anyway near the top 15 to 20 are very special people no race has as many dedicted followers than the tt and that is not by chance
After listening to the Senior I had an awesome track day out here at Miller, my first in the A group. Planning on being there again next year, in my mind it's the greatest sporting event in the world.
pleased all you that went enjoyed it you now know what all the fuss is about once the tt gets in your blood its hard to get it out its definatly as adictive a class a drug
bigmac was this the dude spitting sausage and egg everywhere at the creg? https://www.facebook.com/rs.promotions/posts/841602932556167
http://www.gofundme.com/jamiehamilton Jamie Hamilton, the much loved road racer from Ballyclare had a fantastic start to the 2015 season with the Cookstown/ Burrows Engineering race team and was in his own words 'totally loving life'. Unfortunately, as most people know, on Friday 12th June 2015 Jamie had a serious accident during the Senior race at the Isle of Man TT. Jamie is currently in hospital in Liverpool and we know that he has a difficult and long road to recovery ahead of him. We are trying to raise money to help Jamie and his family throughout his recovery in the coming weeks and months. Anyone who knows Jamie will know what a passion for life he has and we know that many of Jamie's friends, family and fans will want to help out in any way they can. The Jamie Hamilton Supporters' Club would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their kind messages of support and well wishes for Jamie and his family. It is totally overwhelming how many messages of support we have received from across the world. It would be really great if you could donate anything you can to 'Help the Hammer'. Your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
