Not all cyclists mind - I have no real problems with kids on bikes, mountain bikes, stunt bikes, BMX bikes and the like

The ones I really hate are the lycra clad, helmet wearing chwunts that insist on riding two or more abreast on their racing cycles on fast or narrow roads. It's only going to get worse as the TDF gets closer too...

This morning I needed fuel for the days run, so off I went to my local Morrisons, which is on a shopping estate and busy as hell. Queueing in and at the pumps even at 10am. So I queues up, pays up and heads of back to the dual carriageway, except I cannot get anywhere because lycra boy and his lycra chum are holding a side by side conversation at 10mph in lane 2.... They head on to the roundabout side by side, go around it side by side, and head down the dual carriageway side by side, still at 10 mph and still squatting in the right hand lane.

So - what do I do ? Do I follow them for just over half a mile to the next roundabout at 10mph waiting for some artic or blind car driver to hit my up the back end ?

Or do I break the law and undertake the selfish barstards ?

Well, of course I chose the latter. I also opted for first gear, lots of revs and to pass about 10mm from cyclist number 1....

No I am not proud, no its not big or clever, yes it gets us a bad name - but if the twats had behaved even half reasonably I would have given them all the room and more...

Should've blasted down the middle of them on 1 wheel with each leg out to the sides and clothes line them off their bikes. I'm like you but I pretty much hate everyone else that shares the same grid square as me.

haha I had forgotten all about that incident ...

Unfortunately with CCTV everywhere these days, it's getting harder and harder to be able to mow others down and get away with it...Who says progress is always a good thing ? :roll:

You guys are just all jealous cos you can't rock a frickin' Molteni shirt like I can....wanna know what's better? - that shirt has never been on a bike...I only ever wear it to clubs!
