    Hi,

Well hopefully on Monday I will confirm my purchase of a 675R :). I had planned to wait until next month due to the new plate coming out and finances looking slightly healthier, but as I was moving the insurance company could not update my policy as it was "too big of a change" on my old bike. So then the policy would be void as the address was at my dads house (even though that is where the bike was) and I was going to be 40miles away, this basically forced my hand and I took my old bike to the dealership yesterday.. didn't even get a last go

So hopefully on Monday the guy I was dealing with will be back and I can get it finalised, this will be my biggest purchase to date and only new thing I have ever bought... but I wanted a 675 since it first came out :)

Based in Aberdeen. On buying the bike think I will get the triumph bungs and tank pad also the alarm I know I have heard stories about battery problem but will be using the bike daily, and kept on the road :( any thoughts?

:p Yet another Aberdeen, weren't we trialing a spam filter for you lot.?

What year is your 675r. If it's the pre-13 version, first purchase is engine protection.
I have an alarm on mine, never gives me any problems (tempting fate), but I always use an Optimate when she's garaged for more than a couple of days anyway.

Hello and welcome in. The bike is excellent. I know you'll love it. You just now need to add extra bling and take it to a track.

Thanks :) looking forward to getting it.

The tyres I have heard people say not great in damp/wet I am in Aberdeen so this is a frequent occurrence. do people think I should be looking to change them asap? Or will they be ok?

First new thing too, had a look at vinyl paint protection no one up here does it for a start then read sometimes doesn't even help that much, just give her a good wax?

With your pace, I doubt you struggle to keep the tyres hot.

Remember, I want a go on the R!!
