Hi all. Picked my daytona 675 up fitted with a full arrow system I believe. Love the bike feels great light nimble. And that noise... Will take some getting used to how it rides though. It doesn't feel as quick as my old cbr. But I'm sure that's just the sensation of 4cylinder against 3 . lovely bike to ride instant power. Roll on spring..

    Hello and merry Christmas

Hi thank you I'm in Staffordshire. The bikes an 08 in tornado red I believe got few trick bits on which I'm not sure about.but in general she's lovely. Love the noise. The systems got the baffle in still. Couldn't imagine what it would sound like without

  4. Yo, they don't have the mental top end rush of the 4 Cylinder, but corner to corner they seriously punch above their weight!

Congrats! I've had 2 Daytona's and the earlier under seat pipe ones are probably my fav. I just think they have more character.

Best thing for Xmas and all of the next year :) enjoy! I've just re-read your post, doesn't feel as quick as your old cbr? It's all in the wrist, cbrs are fat lazy f*ckers by comparison...Twist that grip on the right man! ;)

My best mate, who I do touring holidays with, track day with, and ride with has a 2010 CBR.

    Your Daytona is quicker!

I felt the same when I came from a ZX6r, I think because that had a 'step' in the power delivery which felt fast, whereas the 675 has a flatter torque and power curve. I hit the limiter a few times by accident.

But trust me, your Daytona is quicker!

  16. Welcome Jim, that's a great xmas present:D
It should definately be quicker than an old cbr, but check if you have the standard throttle tube fitted, you may not be giving it as much gas as you think. Search for 1050 throttle mod, will give you a quicker action throttle.
    Merry Xmas:binge:

I never said the cbr was quicker just the power delivery makes it feel quicker, Thats all. im aware that it has more power and torque and due to it being a triple delivers the power completely differently too a 4 cylinder, The triple is fantastic the noise addictive. Just peed off with the weather

    thanks for the input guys
