    Slightly lower than that...and the usual extras....in my mind it's a total bargain...and I'm more than happy with the deal....that's the main thing really...

  6. I was kidding about the price, didnt haggle at all as I decided a STR was more for me, but well done :) Its a lovely bike

    I wasn't kidding...got a good deal...I can't ride sit up bikes...back won't take it...will need to change the seat...think they design them for skinny arse f....s. Have you picked it up yet?

  9. I bought a private sale in Bristol, had it 2 weeks now. Love it, esp now I've tweaked the throttle cable.

    Tweeted the throttle cable...why wud u need to....what does it do? There's a few things I'll need to do to it, any advice and help from you guys wud be great....bear in mind...I'm no boy racer...done my track racing road racing...too old for that now...
     
  11. It was a bit slack and I was having trouble when pulling away. Two minute job, adjuster on cable.

    Thanks...oh ok..thought it was an issue...cable adjustment etc I can do...been stripping and building bikes for years so pretty up on that...Saturday can't come soon enough...it better not be raining...

    Best adjustment you can make to the throttle is switching it out for a 1050 grip, cheap mod but means about a quarter turn less to full throttle.

    Also on the subject of security, I'd look into get a tracker fitted, had a previous bike stolen and wouldn't park my anywhere now without the tracker on it, got an alarm too.

    Not sure what else you'v got on the bike, but it does look the nuts in that colour scheme, welcome to the forum.

    Thanks...have seen loads of trackers and even ones that text message u etc...I I tend to go the full hog....including my garage....as for the bike...can't see it needs much other than good wheels...suggested earlier, and carbon fibre bits to finish it off...

    Thanks...was looking for ages, and this came up at my local triumph as a one off paint job..love it..has been suggested it wud look better with gold wheels too...will see..
