I am refitting my radiator on my 2014 675R after fitting crash protectors.

The right hand side bolt and fitting are fine.

The left hand side bottoms out on the metal insert like there is a rubber bung missing.

Does anyone know what am doing wrong?

Or have any pics off theirs cheers

There are 2 rubber bungs 1 each side. Found a parts drawing and maybe I am fitting the metal sleeve the wrong way around

It's not something people normally have photos of mate, I'm sure it's a real simple thing your missing, try it again and try the rubber bungs in all positions, only 09 the nuts are on the inside and bolts the outside but try yours different ways, also try to radiator lug on both sides of the bit it attaches too. Worse comes to worse use washers to pack it out if you aren't happy with how secure it it's.

Tried everything mate even got parts diagram which confuses things even more as has sleeve on outside of bolt which is impossible. Am North East. Looks like a trip to Dealer tomorrow

Sorry forgot to tell the outcome.

    With no help whatsoever from
North East Triumph who did not want to know I checked a 675R in the showroom.

I had the fitting correct in the first place.

The left hand mount allows thermal expansion and that's why it appears not secure.

    Cheers

  12. Try taking photos before you take your bike apart.
