Hiya! Just ordered my 675R yesterday.. 9 sleeps to go! Then I have to get the thing run in in time for the bike trackday at Snetterton on 21st May. Its my 40th birthday present to myself, now I just need to sell my FZ1 and 900 hornet so I can afford to pay for it when I pick it up Looking forward to 'meeting' you all and such. Nicky.

What a great welcome Thanks guys and gals. I'm a ladette, StMarks... North east of Ipswich close to Woodbridge, Triplex. Can't wait to get researching on all the best mods etc, can't have a standard bike for long! Nix
Yo Nicky!!! Welcome in, what a gorgeous bike you've just bought!!! 40th birthday prez... I wish I'd had something so exciting!!! Happy birthday!!!!!!!!!
Welcome in Nixhaz (Nicky) glad to see another 675'r in the eastern region! I'm south of the Orwell and also enjoy a trackday - may even have met you if you're a regular! Always good to see Ladettes on the track to take some of the testoterone down a peg or two! Cracking choice of bike that is really going to shine on-track , hope to see you at a meet this summer! DG.
Great to see so many of you are locals! The Great Bentley meet on Wednesday nights is worth a look too, though the roads from this direction are a bit nadgery. Not sure how the ultra firm Ohlins suspension is gonna cope with the tractor infested back roads! This'll be my first sports bike since about 1920 when I was 19yrs old. My pride and joy was my FZR600 back then. Since then all my bikes have been practical things, what with being an instructor. But now I'm just riding for fun (and commuting) I figured its time to get something as impractical as possible! First on the list of mods, crash bungs and a seat cowl (the 6' 3" other half would look a right dork on the back methinks).. Any suggestions? Would love to get an end can too but might have to wait for funds for that..
You DEFINITELY need to replace the silencer - I had my dealer throw in the Arrow exhaust with the bike.
