Ive got a RSV4 factory, as my everday bike, moved from a k2 gsxr750 to the 675. For the track, ive got to say the 675 is so much fun on track. Only did a couple on her last year but will be at oulton and anglesey alot next year :D

  4. Welcome to the forum Nick, an RSV4 everyday bike plus a dedicated 675 track bike, you're living the dream:D
Oulton and Anglesey are two of my "local" and favourite tracks, only experienced them first hand in cars though never on the bike, post some pictures an I'll look out for you if I drop in to Oulton Park.

Going to paint her in the next couple of week so I’ll post up some pick, Oulton is unavailable such a good track, hard to work out but so much fun, did a 2 day TD at Anglesey last year on the GSXR 750, can’t wait to get there with the 675.

Fwiw I also love my little 675 on track, as you can push the envelope properly. A less constrained type of fun imho.
I'm hoping to squeeze an Oulton or two in next season (time permitting), and Anglesey is easily top of my "want to go" list, just never seem to get there..
Maybe I'll spot you whizzing past me next summer.!

How long have you had your 675, was it already a track tool & if so where from ( i.e. was she already on here with a previous owner)..?

I’ll post up when we’re going to oulton and Anglesey next, there’s an few of us that go together, always like to meet up with more people, we love to chat,
Got the bike earlier this year, unfortunately life got in the way this summer so didn’t do as many TDS as I would have liked.

Welcome in @Nick675se It's always great to have new people on board. I hope she brings much joy. I know nothing about track days but love these bikes for what they can do. Have fun and post up some pics when you can

Hi Nick, you’ve come to the right place for help and good advice.I have had plenty of both from the friendly and knowledgeable folk on this forum.Good choice of bike for the track, these bikes are just made for corners.I’ve been racing a gen 2 for 3 years and a gen 3 for 2 years and wouldn’t want anything else.
What slipper clutch are you thinking of??
I use a Sigma and am really happy with it.
    Regards Nik

Have been looking at the Sigma clutches, I think that’s the route I’m going down, but have hear good things about the Gen 3 slipper clutch’s so might look a bit deeper into them.

Would be cheaper as you do find them secondhand.

If I can find one I’ll most probably go for the gen 3 one, and see how I go, the sigma ones are expensive.
