Hello folks, Been lurking on the forum for a bit, and thought the time has come to introduce myself. I'm from Winchester in Hampshire, and I've only ever owned an SV650S, which I bought after passing my DAS 3 years ago. There used to be a chap who lived a couple of doors down from me in Southampton with a grey Daytona 675. It looked and sounded so awesome it made me finally stump up the cash to sort out my bike license, and now here I am. I forced myself to buy the SV for the first few years, and now I feel comfortable on the bike and (hope) I won't do anything too daft - I've laid down the deposit for a brand new 675R which I'll take delivery of on 1st March. Part 'cause of the new plate, part 'cause it was snowing when I ordered it! Can't wait! :twisted:

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone Would love to make the fest, sounds fun, but checked my calendar and I'm on call that week. Probably not any chance of getting out of it r19vul and scottondanet, look forward to meeting you sometime when I've got the new bike. This time in two weeks she should be snoozing in the garage after a long day of riding - just a shame I won't be able to give her the beans!
