Welcome to our friendly little forum Joe_Riley, have you looked in our own for sale section.?
I think Rocketrepairer's bike may be along the lines you're looking for.
Yep, & it's been proven many a time.
Pleased that you're going against type, and not simply choosing a TOWIE white one.;))

Don't be put off with bikes that have been bought new but specifically for track. My Tona was bought by a guy who bought it just for track use and the bike was looked after better in my opinion. The guy got it regularly serviced and serviced by himself. He did around 4k each year on track when I saw it the tyres were battered but mechanically was fantastic. I did a further 14K odd or so without any problems and even a different Triumph dealers said it was very clean and tidy inside when it went in for services including major.

But this is my experience not all are the same!!

Cheers guys. Had a look at rocketrepairers bike..lovely but im after a 2009 as it has the changes. Plan to have a hunt around this weekend, anyone had any good or bad experiences with the superbike factory as they seem very cheap??

  5. if you have £5k you can absolutely get a 2009+ in really tidy condition. Personally though I wouldn't let colour limit me from getting a great bike! also mid-ish way through 2009 they updated to the new Dashboard which IMHO is a big improvement.

I had a 2010 Caspian Blue and I think in the flesh they still look the best of all of them! just such a rich colour and with the wheels they really pop.

No problem at all, the reviews look good apart from the odd couple. Never know they could be generic.

I reckon if you walked in here with £5k you could probably get this 11'plate model with extras, at least this time of the year... Worth a phone call if you're not "local" to Swindon. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231726224662

Or buy it at asking and sell the crash protection and led's on here - you'll make your £200 back very quickly.

  13. Oh and it's been in there 2-3 months, so you will get it for £5000

Don't think prices so much go UP, it's more the dealers have less to be able to offer as a discount. I've heard it's down to their sales targets and at this sort of time no one is riding so the salesmen need to meet their quoter even in the poor weather. During the summer they know their sell the bike for pretty much whatever they want because people want to ride and at the time a lot of people are looking so more chance of selling it quickly.

Popped into Honda a little while back and the sales guy was telling me during the summer he was getting part exs and by the next week those were sold. However this time of year apparently the 125s and scooters are sold very quickly. Infact I think that blue Daytona is the one that's been in Honda for months. If so they must of transfered it to the Swindon branch because it's bigger and more chance of selling. If it's the same one then dam I was even considering getting it if insurance wasn't so high!!

Anyway hope this helps a bit

Welcome in, that blue caspian looks lovely. Don't be put off by the arrow can a quickshifter - many of us are posers and like these trick bits - rarely means the bike has been trashed. Get some pics up when you get it!
