Hi to all. I just bought myself a 2006 Daytona 675 last weekend and love it. Sweet ride...only 3100 miles on it and it came with all of the goodies. I'm an American..... and I figured I'd come to a UK forum for the best advice and for the quick humor!!! Love the Brits!!!!!

I went to the 2007 Centenary Isle of Man TT....spent 16 days camping in the UK. Best trip of my life....

Welcome matey. Where in the states do you ride. We hear D41 telling us all about his ventures over the big pond.

I live down on the Gulf Coast (straight & Flat), but we go up to the Smoky Mountains and ride/camp about 5 times a year. We'll set up camp and ride out in different directions each day...usually around 300 mile days. Google Deals Gap and the Cherohala Skyway.....these are some beautiful roads in the mountains. Even had a friend of mine from Milton Keens come over here and ride with us after me and my mate came over there to the TT in 07'. We also race 2 stroke 50cc bikes in the mountains every October....150 riders set off in groups of 6 in a rally style timed event.....my Derbi GPR will do about 77 MPH. Won my class twice!! Loads of fun! The only rule is that your bike had to come to life as a 50cc....modifications are encouraged and expected!!!! LOL I have about 3 grand each in my 50's...it's a sickness. If I could figure out how to add pics I would show ya'll some great shots of the camping/riding/racing.

    Thanks for the warm welcome

Hey 675hazza - Me and my mate went over the mountain 13 times while I was on the island. I was WFO on a clapped out BMW 650GS rental out of London. Can you say rental abuse!!! LOL
