Hey guys. For anyone interested I’ve got the healtech quickshifter qsh-p4a on my 2008 Daytona 675 and it works perfectly. Works in both road and race shift. You also have an app that allows you to customise its function. It’s an exceptional piece of kit for the money. It’s only up the gearbox though. It was dead easy to install too. Just thought I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a quickshifter.

@dfoster77 thanks for the post. Is your daytona the Gen 1 model?

How is it compared to the oem unit on the Gen 2 Daytona and is it possible to get it working as a down blipper as well as a quickshifter?

    Yes, Gen 1.

It is sensitive to any pressure so it works up or down. It cuts the throttle though so you can’t blip. Supposedly if you contact HT though they say there’s a way to downshift and blip.

I’ve used it in both Road Shift and GP shift and works great.

The OEM units are known for overheating on the track so depends on on what you intend to use it for. I’ve not had any issue with mine.
