How do you folks mount a Go Pro on the 675? The two sticky bases don't quite seem to fit anywhere on the bike quite right and I don't fancy seeing my Go Pro shoot past me at Snetterton tomorrow. The helmet mount I don't like the look of with the windage, but I do have a chest mount that I can try. Who's done what and I'd like to have both a forward are rearward mount too. Many Thanks Mark
I have one on my seat cowl, can easily mount one further back just over the rear light too. Right at the front of the tank is good too. On the flat spot

http://www.amazon.co.uk/K-Edge-Go-Big-G ... pro+k+edge I have one of these mounted instead of the mirror
On my daytona I fitted one on the tank (didn't show the speed) and one on left front side of nose cone. Never had problems with any of these
same- On the tank, screen blocks the wind so it stays on and no noise. obv the screen sort of spoils the view slightly but I've found it quite good
I've mounted the curved base at 90degrees just on front of the filler cap and the flat one on the tail unit (Skidmarx race tail unit) again at 90 degrees. Looks good and strong and I heated the sticky pad a bit and used thinners to de-grease the area to be stuck on too. Will now make a couple of tethers just in case but I'll use the little rubber insert on the clip too. Fingers crossed!! I'll post the videos on You Tube if they're actually worth looking at. Cheers
Mind's on my fairing. Have counter sunk some bolts as I never remove it. Works perfectly. Picture in this thread. https://www.675.cc/675/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=22380
I had he same issue as you so I copied troubles idea of counter sinking two screws at the bottom of the screen (sorry about pic quality. Have a look at my vid on the forum trackday from snett if you wan to check out the view
Yep - I considered this option but went for the tank sticky pad as ideally be good to see the clocks if possible. I hadn't considered a tank mounted Go Pro might not be allowed so this would then be where it goes.
I use a headstock mount, its ram ball then I use an arm to a ball plate. I also use a bolt on plate on the rear hanger. Both use tethers or lockwire in addition to the mount. Loosibg the camera is one thing but I don't want I t coming off and hitting someone causing them to crash.
No offence, but if your rear camera came off, that tether looks more dangerous than good. Your camera could get tangled up in your rear wheel or rip your break line.
