Gia-moto rearsets for the 2006-2013 Daytona

Update on Gia-moto's coming rearsets for both the 2013 model (due soon) and the 2006-2012 models (to be finalized after the 2013 version)

The gear side prototype is ready, some further machining/anodizing to come to the Heel and carrier plates.

Austin Racing has sold rebranded versions of these for the Aprilia RSV4 previously but Kelvin @ Gia-Moto says that from now on they will carry their own logo and wil be available directly from them aswell + spareparts etc.

There will be a standard anodized in titanium finish plus a black version and a higher spec version with titanium fasteners etc. Standard and raceshift is possible.

I have placed a temp order and will recive my set end of July hopefully. Price 330£ VAT

I can't find these anywhere on giamoto.com and will they fit the 675R with the quickshifter?

 

Yea they haven't updated their site in ages. Not sure about the quickshifter, never asked about that. Waiting to hear from them about the titanium look set, i'll ask bout the quickshifter when they get back to me.

They got back to me and they will be able to supply a slightly shorter pushrod to accomodate the standard Triumph quickshifter, just think you will need to specify that when placing the order.

Np, kelvin said that the titanium coloured sets are slightly delayed at the metal plater but they should be in by tomorrow. He will send pics so i'll post em here asap, i'm ordering my sets as soon as they're in stock.

TRIUMPH DAYTONA 675 2013 TITANIUM ANNODISED ADJUSTABLE REARSET KIT BY GIAMOTO.
This rearset kit is manufactured by Giamoto racing products in the UK. It is machined from 6082T6 aluminium. The latest 3d machining techniques have been employed meaning the parts are first modeled and machined on the computer then machined from single blocks of aluminium avoiding the need for long linkage rods or brake pins.The brake plate has been machined from one piece including the brake boss. It is 6 way adjustable from the stock position fore and aft in 15mm increments.A billet bracket is included meaning stock brakelight sensor can be used , no need for messy pressure switches or cable ties.Brake toe peg is adjustable as is the gear toe peg meaning even more custom adjustment. Gearlever movement is through dual INA bearings.The kit has been designed to compliment the lines of the 675 and takes styling cues from features on the bike .Form as well as function.Everything is included in the kit to complete fitting.All fittings are in stainless steel with a special "R" kit with titanium fittings on the way. the 06 to 12 units are being made now available within a week or so i emailed them yesterday and got reply this morning first brake plate was made yesterday
the sets are the same with the exception of the extra bit on the brake side for the exhaust mount the advise i got was to ask again in a week or so
im very interested for feedback from any who buy them

 

I ordered my 13 titanium set today, they said that the gearchange pushrods will be finished early next week.
Should have them by mid/end next week i hope.

 

I contacted Mark on eBay and asked if he could do a special price for 675.cc members for a block order? Is there any way of spreading this link to other members to highlight possible deal?? I asked about 2010 model!

 

I'd be interested in one for a 2012 if they worked with triumph QS

 

I called them today and spoke to Mark and kelvin, was an absolute pleasure, top blokes both of them. Finalized payment and with luck my sets will ship before the weekend.

Kelvin said they're allmost done with the pre 13 sets, they look the same apart from the exhuast mount and will fit 06-12 bikes. And devastata, a shorter gearchange pushrod for the Triumph QS is in the works " We will make a slightly shorter pushrod to accommodate the standard Triumph quickshifter " I would recommend their company to anyone, been a pleasure to deal with them.

 

i must say ive spoke to them via email and they were great
im interested in a set for my 2011 daytona but the main hurdle is cash for a good price i might just put a set on the not so fiendly plastic
im long in the leg and i know years ago on a old bike i had rearsets and they wernt as good as modern ones but i could get more comftorble its more the angle of my ankles thats the problem for me
