Who else gets super excited when they see photos of their bike(s!) online? I don't "do" social media and I have very few photos of myself or my bikes, so I get ridiculously over animated whenever I see my gorgeous bikes on a public website. Beautiful Bertha got papped going into The Piston Club yesterday:
Looking good Janey, I don't "do" social media either but judging by the amount of photo's taken of the Thruxton especially, there must be hundreds floating around somewhere I'll never see, I don't think I have a single picture of me on the bike, I'd probably ruin it.
I'm not so sure mate..: . I suspect that Jake spotted & photographed the celebrated Janey, & Bertha was just incidental to his shots. Lol, & I'm yet another "social media hermit " . I wouldn't know of any pic's floating around Facebook, Twitter etc,,,, but as my steed is less illustrious it seems unlikely. A few years ago I was "advised" about a front facing image of me on my D675 (together with the captured speed) that was being banded round our local Traffic Police to: "be aware, & seek further details". Does that count ?
It's great when our bikes are so much more social and well known than the owners . My dark visor is nothing to do with sunlight glare and is really just to stop me seeing my face in photos.
They probably just couldn't believe that someone was allowed out of the house looking so mismatched and day glow .
I'm always the other end of the camera taking pictures of others out enjoying their bikes. I do love the different bikes you get to see out and about.
I've seen some of your work when I've been insta-scrolling . Just because I don't have an account, it doesn't stop me e stalking.
Well hopefully you approve. I need to train up the other half so she can take pictures of me out and about
