Well after the jaw dropping price of the Sargent seat, I've purchased a gel seat. Picking it up later this week which means that unfortunately, I'm gonna have to take the bike for a nice long ride! If only to compare which seat is best!

  2. i like mine at first to be honest the stock seat felt softer but after a long ride i found i could go further without the old cheek repositioning que steffy  money well spent imo

I don't have much padding in me ass area in the trousers so after 45mins or so it get's pretty uncomfortable so was hoping a gel seat would make it a tad more comfy!

  6. Good point

  7. I have a gel seat but I dont think its that great, I expected it to be much comfier. The only differnce ive found is that it takes about an hour longer before I get a sore ass, Ive also found that its no good on track days. I put my original seat back on for a track day a few months ago and havent put the gel seat back on since.

  8. I have a gel seat on mine and having come from a Gixer 750 with iron rods for suspension I think that whilst the Daytona suspension isn't the softest in the world the Gel seat really softens the ride went out for an hour yesterday and was just dandy the whole time and even after an hour ride to work this morning still feeling fine it's my wrists that were beginning to hurt more than anything else think I am still getting used to the handle bar positioning.
