The frame is not cracked it's just got the section missing it's where the lower bearing race presses into. Basically the race broke in half and has damaged the frame as u can see

  3. I'd try JHS racing in Bristol if they are close by? Not sure they do it but they can recommend someone's as my mates 675 (that he bought from them) had that exact repair.

The repair in his is excellent, it's been machined out to accept a larger taper roller bearing (used on the rocket I think, I can get the part number for you).

Only problem with his was the top race was damaged as well so it's taper roller top and bottom, which are thicker, which means he's lost a locknut from the stem, not a big problem just a bit trickier to set-up.

Afaik Glenn (who is a top bloke IMO) has still got a fair bit of recuperation before he'll be race-fit. :(

Yet another victim of our accursed 2013

  9. Nice to see you have started the repairs and hope they don't set you back to much and thanks for the kind words .

As far as getting fit again I had a massive set back as my hand was just starting to work again through some tough physio but as some of you know they found something on my pancreas at the time of my scan for the fracture on my back. This happened to be pre cancerous so have had half removed which was 6 hours under the knife and can only be described as brutal. On a brighter note I've lost one and half stone haha.

Good to hear that you can see a positive Glenn..
I suppose you could always add to that that you were "lucky" to have needed that scan. ;)
