Following a recent test ride on a V-twin I'm considering a move to one.....that means my 675 would need to go to a new home as I simply don't have space for both unfortunately :x .

Take a look at the spec / pics below and I think you'll agree what I'm asking 'aint a lot for what you get!

A quick summary of my bike:

Ordered and purchased new by me Apr '11 (I'm the only owner)
Covered 2512 miles so far (full supplying Triumph dealer service history with just under 1 year warranty remaining - annual service completed April '12)
    K-Tech rebuilt front forks (20mm kit = both valve stacks + K-Tech 0.9kg springs)
    Öhlins TTX36 (675R) rear shock (inc. 110NM & 100NM genuine Öhlins springs - 100NM currently fitted)
    Genuine Triumph quickshifter
Genuine Triumph black anodised shorty levers
Genuine Arrow carbon exhaust + matching ECU remap
    Genuine Triumph tinted Aero screen
    Genuine Triumph low Gel seat
Genuine Triumph Daytona 650 mirrors (so you can actually see behind you ;) )
    Genuine Bagster tank bag
Tech-Spec 'snake-skin' tank pad set (includes tank protector)
    Carbon exhaust heat shield
    Carbon rear hugger
    Evotech radiator guard
    Evotech Tail Tidy
    Opti-mate underseat battery hook-up
Twinlight Driver 3 - twin headlight driver unit
GB Racing frame sliders + T3 racing crank case slider
    Front & back fork / swing-arm bobbins
Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa Pro tyres (front & back)
Genuine Triumph fitted Datatool S4 alarm (Thatcham CAT1 with paperwork)

As you can see my 675 is fully spec'd up with all the "right" bits and no rubbish (all extras bought new by the way). The Öhlins shock + front fork work by Si @ TRS & K-tech UK cost me over £1200 alone and transformed the handling.

The bike is mint thanks to it being my weekend ride-out plaything. It's always garaged and hasn't seen the rain - after finishing 6 years of London commuting on a VFR Vtec I can now choose NOT to ride in the rain!!.

Here's a couple of pics so you can get a general idea of what she looks like - please note the tank bag in the picture would be included but is currently off the bike as I've put some Tech-Spec snakeskin pads on there instead :D

I'm looking for £6750 for her as she stands.

The sale will include all original documents, receipts and keys of course  . I also have all the original stock 675 parts (right down to the stock fork springs + valves!).

Please note - I'm currently on night shifts at work so might be on here at odd times of the day until the weekend arrives.

Drop me a PM with any questions you have and I'll get back to you as soon as I can :p

    Thanks guys :-D .

I'm hoping it'll go to an enthusiast......stripping back to stock and trading would seem like such a shame. Id much rather someone who appreciates it gets the enjoyment out of it......after all....putting a smile on your face is what the 675's are all about in my book :-D

I don't honestly think anyone could wish for a better example Relentless (excepting that it's not grey ;) ) or one that’s been better maintained either judging from your past posts.

What's the V twin responsible for turning your head please mate.?

  7. God I've always wanted a Caspian! She's stunning

She's beautiful and pretty much exactly what I want to do with mine. If I'd not bought in March I'd be biting your hand off. GLWTS. That Vtwin must be something very special.

    Weird isn't it? ;-)

It's just something I've got to do - a neighbour of mine has a Suzuki TL1000R and it sounds immense. I blame him entirely.....although the other neighbour of mine with a 1098 certainly doesn't help matters!! :)

The fact that my other half has a cross-plane R1 also doesn't help either. Have ridden it a few times and fancy moving up to the 1000cc class whilst I have the chance. Pretty sure I'll end up back on a 675 at some point as it's actually all the bike you need in the real world.....but right now......it's all about the twins for me :-D

If I had 7 grand would buy it now. I don't! Sorry!
Don't think you will have any trouble fining a buyer though.
What are you looking to buy?

  13. Ive came the other way m8 ,i had an Aprilia rsvr 2nd generation with mivv x-cones and i do miss the grunt and noise every day but i dont miss the fuel bill and heavy feeling you might find it'll a be short lived thing i test rode ducati's and ktm rc8s and ended up with the triumph....good luck m8 and enjoy.... :D

    Cheers - I hope to! :))

Funnily enough I'm looking very closely at the KTM RC8R (2009 / 2010) models with the "proper" forged rims and the single spark head. Pretty much ruled out the stock RC8 as the "R" just seems so much more for the money.

Have taken out an 848 too. Just superb to look at.....not so much to ride IMHO. Very stiff and feels like it needs a lot of dialling in to get it to handle the way it should. Love the engine though :-D

Not keen on the Aprillia's personally. Respect them loads given how capable they are but not a bike I could love.

I'm looking for something that I can hoon up to Scotland for a bit of a road trip next year and the RC8R with its extremely adjustable stock setup lends itself to a bit of touring rather nicely to my eyes :)

  15. Yeah lovelly bike m8, and your right about the r the base model has a mare of a throttle  Ktm do a crackin range of upgrades doesn't take much to race them why dont you go for the uber sexy track preped race one not bad for 13995 lol

  16. Is it still up for sale ?

I'm trying to sell my sv650s it's on ebay as we speak. I'm after a caspian tona but might be a bit too pricey :-(. Will have to see if I can shift it and see what the finances are like ;-). Can't beat the sound of a v twin though the Sv sounds awesome.
