Ok, so I’ve been here before.! But I have an introduction to make nonetheless. She’s here!!!! My first Daytona 675 has been delivered/dropped off. I can hardly believe it. I haven’t stopped smiling since I scraped her up. I’ve actually had this stupid grin on my face for the last 8 hours, in fact I’m still grinning as I type this Isn’t she beautiful ?? Oh I know some of you “superficial” types may not see it, but if you look beyond the odd little scratch and gouge, and crack, and twist, and…… . And then like me you’ll see the beauty that lies beneath. You may all have pampered younger models, with perfect cosmetics and all the bling and tricks to turn heads. But MY baby will be just as lovely! And at last I can consider myself to be a “proper” forum member, not just some wanabee with a Blade. I can even now request my screen stickers Craig? My block paving is going on the back burner (again), and I’ve cleared out one of the stables specially for her. So let the burning of the midnight oil commence. Oh, and Nila, -just about the only part not needing attention is… the graphite front mudguard !
How much? Looks good. Can't beat a rebuild project to get something exactly how you want it. Now you can get that totally pimped out and custom. Should be sweet. Post pics as you go along. Custom spray job? Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
Well it's not the Scorched yellow one!! JCB had that colour scheme first I think, and the colour actually does quite suit industrial (and other slow moving) vehicles.
Thanks Nila. I can't say how much, for fear of being laughed at I'm torn between turning her into my trackday bike, and still buying a really tidy one for the road. Or patching her up for the road. Either way I think she'll stay Grey-ish (Yes boring I guess, but we all have different tastes eh?) Got an old Grey nosecone kicking around anyone ?? P.S. Ive put a couple more pics in my gallery, that show some of the "unique customisations" my bike has.
I hate those guys that post that don't even own a 675...total losers, IMO  /goes off to start his own 650 site. D650.co.uk....population..1
You buy one in good condition it will never be as nice as one you custom do up. Also means you don't have to buy all your tweaks twice. Put crash protection gear and crash bungs and should be fine. Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk
Was that the one on flea bay for £2000? I saw a crash damage graphite on their last week and was like 'ooo track bike project!'
Does that mean tht I'm not a total loser anymore Darren?? -RESULT !! Er,,,, yes! Thanks for the heads-up Miss Old std R/H footrest & hanger you want rid of anyone ???
 :tears: I'm going out to play with my Dog now. SHE loves me even if I am a loserr, sniff, sniff.....:dogrun:
Humm... Well I knew you lot across the pond had some strange habits ! ( Deliverence "..squeal like a pig for me fat boy" ) :cens: But over here in Blighty, when I say she loves it when I play with her ball it's something made of hard rubber that I throw about 200 yards over the paddock so she can chase it.! :dogrun:
Nice!! Not sure about the delivery vehicle! Sounds a bargain at that money, keep us all posted, sounds a very interesting read. Have fun.
Sorry Hazza!! But you did tell me about her :? Back on thread, Thanks Steffy! I'll happily keep you lot "informed" of progress (aka bored), and don't forget you all now have a potential punter for those old parts that you can't be bothered to put on fleabay Oh and Darren, I've added a picture of my little pup to my gallery, anytime your over here you can come and "play chase" with her! She's a quite "enthusiastic" guard dog. Lives on a steady diet of Thieving Stoats, Scummy Bastards, Californians and passing sundry.!
