When does it run out. I went a rad guard but they are currently out of stock? Do you think if I email them they will still apply the discount after ??

I would have thought of you bought it and used the code before the time limit then the transaction is done as per the agreement but you'll just have to wait for them to restock. I think there was a bit of a rush on radguards

Thanks MTB, got use out of this! Just wish I could afford some levers, discount or not I can't quite justify it at the moment!

Don't buy ebay cheap levers. I witnessed one locking on after 3 laps at oulton sending the rider on his ass at high speeds

I've owned mine for 5yrs and tons of forum owners also have owned and used them with no problems for years. I'd say that person just had really bad luck. There's not really much in it that can lock.

  9. To add some balance...

No, there isn't much in the lever mechanism that can lock, but it can cause the brakes to lock still, because it controls them!

A poor quality lever can mean that the butt of the lever pushes the master cylinder piston a little constantly, such that the pads make light contact with the discs until the callipers and fluid heats up, expanding the system and locking the wheel.

I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. The design, and the QC needs to be spot on with a brake lever, and there are a number of cases reported online where people have had accidents due to failed cheap levers.

Yes, you'll always find more unhappy people commenting about their purchase, but still, the percentage of very badly made levers is higher with cheap imported chinese levers i'm sure - and to me, it's not worth taking your chances. When have you heard of accident caused by failed Harris, Evotech, R&G, and ASV levers?

I'd heard loads of people fitting them to road bikes with no problems.

Go on the track and everyone you will meet will tell you how they have saw someone crash due to them.

When you see someone go out on a bike they have spent hours on over winter and crashing on the sighting Lap due to them you realise it's not worth the risk
