Ordered a rad cowl this morning £57.84 delivered, code worked fine, thanks for that, good to see they actually list the ST RX, not sure I can justify £129 for a tail tidy though, Wowza!

  2. Its worth it. You can see the quality in it. I love mine

Good shout, I'll order a new plate today, my usual 8x6 I think :)

  6. I've done a few thousand miles now with a 7x5 and had no bother but I wouldn't go smaller, or to letterbox personally.

Think I had an 8x6 for 6k miles on my old ZXR400 too, experienced no bother.

It won't help with the cost but it might help in your decision that I can't rate the evotech tidy highly enough. It's a really well thought out sturdy smart piece of kit.
It found it hard to part with the cash but after receiving it, it became apparent where my £129 was invested and wisely. Top quality clean and tidy product hides all the cables nice led that looks the part too.

IMO it worth the Extra 40-50 in comparison to the R+G buts that just me. Hope it helps.

I had a 7x5 and every cop I ever asked about it said he had no issue. I also commuted through London daily with it, often directly in front of police cars, filtering past them, etc. and never a problem.

I was pulled once for it on a police 'sting day' when they had like 30 cops blocking a road and doing everyone for any minor offense. Spoke to the cop at the time who apologised for having to give it to me but told me they were forced by head office to have to do the bust on petty crap.
I asked him how long I had to change it in before I could get done again and he leant in and said 'lets face it, its not the end of the world if you never change it is it'.

That was the one time in 3+yrs of commuting in and out of London, being pulled for speeding, etc. that I ever had anyone mention it.

    7x5 all the way!! :)

I really like the look of the evotech levers. Any users on here had them?

  20. I bought a set recently, the long folding ones. Haven't fitted them yet, but the machining and detailing is exquisite. Will be putting them on next week, I'll let you know what they're like to use.
