A fairly clear lap from my first td on the new 675 :)

Nice camera angle, front wheel looks busy.

Yeah, it's surprising how much work the suspension does :)

What ever was the guy doing on the gsxr at the Melbourne loop people like that scare me, the front wheel was moving around a lot worth investing in an ohlins steering damper?? Good video cheers for sharing.

  6. Looks great, great to see how hard suspension works! And no wonders the Ohlins is so confidence inspiring

There's a road bike only TD there on the 8th of May that I'm planning on doing. Looking forward to it; looks like a great track...

  8. Donnington is amazing, i loved it and now they have made the foggy esses much quicker so bet it flows nicer. It's a tricker place to get around than u first think though

Yeah he's a mate if mine. His first time at Donny and missed a couple session due to tyre changes. So was a bit sketchy. He's not the smoothest rider anyway.

Yeah that's my next investment once I've got spare cash, ideally want a gpr style one... but not cheap!

You'll love it. It's a great fast and flowing track :)
Only downside is it seems to be bumpier compared to when I was last there a few years ago.

  11. Love this track, went there for the first time last year, so smooth compared to Rockingham which is where I'd gone to previously.

I'll be there on the 9th for the normal TD, noisy day haha

    Ah sweet!
I've been rocky twice and didn't enjoy it. In no rush to go back there!

Oo that'll be fun. Sadly mine was a 98db day :/
Got oulton park booked for next month :D

Does anyone know what the Db level is for a stock Daytona? I've not done a TD yet where the DB limit was 98!

  14. Stock? Depending on which year I'd imagine it's whisper quiet lol

    I think i got sub 90 with a 2011 w/arrow exhaust w/baffle at Rockingham.

Which is weird because i thought it was still pretty loud, cheeky guy even said it was the quietest yet

  15. Rockingham is great fun as it's a small track, the smaller bike can annihilate the big bikes

However it is quite bumpy and also very physically demanding, felt brutalised after every session but Donny is nice and open and sweeping so don't have to work as hard i found

Definitely! The Daytona feels in its element around there.

That true for most tracks really! I just found it didn't flow well and grip wasn't great.
Much prefer donny and oulton :)

I duno, I found Donny just as demanding as there's more high speed direction changes which takes more effort :)

  18. Maybe it's just because I'm a fat bastard then hahahhaha easier to wallow between the corners at Donny

Haha yeah maybe! I'm just over 10stone so takes a lot of effort for me to pull the bike Around lol
