To fit 06 - 08 Daytona 675. Can has a few marks on it. Last noise test was 104dB, sounds sweet :D

Can be viewed in Billericay. Please PM me if interested. £200 ovno I will sell separately if some only wants the can or headers and link pipe.

Sorry Mark, I wouldn't have a clue. I purchased my bike with the headers already done.

Hi, only 2 ways I think apart from leaving the motor and cables in place.
1, Load the Arrow full system tune into the ecu, it doesn't use the valve, so doesn't look for it when running. It will run rich though, so some serious re-mapping will be needed.
2, Race ECU and harness, no damn good at all if you use the bike on the road.

I am fairly certain you cannot disable the valve within "Tuneboy - reset adaptive settings" though. SiW - you got any ideas?

  6. hi deegee, do you mean leave the cables still attached to the valve and don't get it cut out or take the valve out but leave the cables on the servo. i don't have a tuneboy or power commander yet. i have the tor can and map

If you can fudge it so the motor and cables are still in place with the valve out that obviously does what you want, however the motor has an internal position monitor for either end of it's travel.
It throws the code if it misses the position by x amount.

So you need to fix it so the motor drive spindle turns to the same positions it does now, while still connected to the valve, (before you cut it out).

  8. ok thanks for that. i have had a thought on this, i presume the valve is basically like a butterfly so i was thinking of maybe cutting each flap off but leave the shaft in the middle that way i could leave everything connected and not get the warning light. but i quess i'll have to cut it and have a look see inside

That's one way I guess, but why lose the the butterfly only?
Just curious, but I don't see any benefit from that, all the main reasons for shedding the exup would be lost and you would also lose the one reason it is fitted. :?

Plus points for shedding exup, weight loss, improved reliability, higher gas flow etc
Neg points for shedding exup, loss of bottom end torque.

    Cheers DG
