    I have a 2010 Daytona with a 'factory' Datatool alarm, S4 Red I believe.

Started the bike yesterday to warm up at a trackday and disarmed with the key fob as normal and started up all good. Turned the ignition off and took the key out and went to set the alarm in ferry mode like I always do when its in the van or at the track as all the vibration from other bikes/ tyre warmers on and off sets it off. But when I went to do this the alarm just went off!

It didn't respond to any command on the fob. The only way to turn it off is to put the key in the ignition, turn the ignition on, then press the disarm button and for some reason this works.

When I turn the ignition off and do nothing it stills sets itself after 45 seconds, but when I move the bike it fails to sound the alarm. It unsets fine on the fob also.

I also noticed that every time I turn the bike off and on again the trip resets to 0 and the clock to 01:00. The speedo still works and so does the odometer.

I want to take the bloody alarm off tbh, but want it working correctly before I do so.

Anyone had any experience with this...? HELP :wall:
