It's worth pointing out that many of the clubs don't actually own their home stadiums, they lease them from the local county council, business group, holding company, etc. who are responsible for the ancillary staff that run the place on a day-to-day basis, events during the off-season, etc. The support staff don't actually work for the team, in other words.
That may be true in the US of A. It's not in Britain. The vast majority own their own grounds (or as is the way in these things, lease it from a sister company domiciled abroad) but the clubs employ the staff. Well, apart from most of the match day staff who are bought in from companies who specialise in supplying zero hours, minimum wage slaves. I hope once this is over the country has a good hard look at itself and the way we treat lots of our people. Keep safe folks.
Well, I looked up four English football clubs & in three of them it is as I wrote. So I'm going off that...and those four were off the top of my head. I doubt I'd find things much different if I delved around the entire league, TBH.
Just seen that some remote tribe in the amazon has had there first virus death HTF is that possible when they so remote there social distancing is about 3000 miles,so how did it get there.
It appears that a large number of miners (@ 20,000) are travelling into the tribe's "home region" to take part in what is apparently an illegal mining operation. There's 20,000 miners, there's only 38,000 members of that particular indigenous tribe.....sh#ts gonna get real!!
