you could get a flat sharpish screwdriver on the edge of the bolt and tap with a whacking stick that may break it loose enough to get them undone

  2. I was going to suggest a stud extractor to as I had to use one on my old TS185

re revving.....back the adjuster off on the cable, its about 6 inch or so from throttle housing.i think you'll need a 8mm and 10 mm spanner, its has a rubber cover over it. i had to do this when i did the throttle mod.

^^^^ Wot he said....the circumference of the new throttle tube is greater, so it needs a bit more cable length to work properly.

  11. Dude the TS50 was the first bike I ever rode man what a weapon that was  especially as it liked to slip out of 2nd and into neutral all the time awesome power band though hehe.

  12. Ahhhhhhh the memories, my first road bike when I was 16 was a H reg white & blue TS50 with a full DEP exhaust and Stan Stevens 65cc kit...... I used to love that bike!! Admittedly at the time it felt a little gutless as I was racing a CR125 every other weekend but still, it meant I was road legal!!!!

Back to the thread, Steve, where did you get your throttle tube from mate?? I keep meaning to do this mod to mine.

Hiya Steve, any Triumph dealer will order you one in, there about £8-10 I'll pop the part No. Up later on.

I ordered mine with some exhaust gaskets as there was a minimum postage.

Part No: T2040331 RH throttle tube

  14. Part number would be great mate if you could find it. I've got a trupet deal local to me so will give hem a call and pick it up. I need a excuse to go and perv over some bikes in there anyway!!
