    Hey guys,

After some advice, I've just got in the post today a small LCD screen with cameras for front and rear on the bike, I can record footage and also have eyes in the back of my head.

My question is this, as it draws its power from the bike i need to wire it in, but I need advice on where best to wire it in without slicing through important wires.

As in, can I just find the ignition wire and join it up with that? Surely there's a somewhat safer wire i can attach it to.

    Cheers!

Was exactly that, got it off the wish app, nothing special but the screen works great and is bright and clear and the camera is pretty good too

Pictures below, came with two cameras for front and rear, plus it records too

cheers, was similar to what i was looking at to stick on my commuter.

i would attach to the battery directly, and not to any ignition switched wires.
If you remove the screen when not in use, there will be no battery drain.

if you get off the bike after an incident, you can keep recording any follow up without having to leave the keys in, etc

what about any *ahem* incriminating evidence, how easy is that to delete?

There's a simple format option in the menu, easier to not fit an SDcard and use it as a blind spot camera like I plan to do.

the one i was looking at had a simple on/off button on the handlebar, so if i happen to be doing something that might later be incriminating, i probably wouldn't want to record it anyway ;-)

i would likely turn it on as i start having to filter, or in town, and then off again other times

Wired it into the side light today, works fine when I switch the ignition on, now just to route the wires around the bike to keep it tidy.

And also find a small bracket to mount it under the screen so it doesn't hide the Speedo too much.

Not great to be honest, took it off now. Wasn't expecting much for what i paid

Thinking a better quality one would be much better and it did suit a purpose.

The screen was a bit small, also it would reset each time it turned off and back on which was a bit annoying.

Also the camera view wasn't as wide angle as i wanted, it seemed too narrow.
