MCN reporting the whole race day will be live on quest, channel 37 freeview. Set to record! Qualifying/supersport race 1 is on Eurosport as usual.
Just watched the qualifying/wet 600 race - think I woke the kids up when luke jones took the lead on the 2012 Daytona, and then pulled off with a problem moments later...
Looks like we been push on to the shitty channel focking quest paying eurosport hd is shit. Brands indy is not my favourite when they take out circuits like Mallory and likes of Anglesey Croft come on msvr get your hand in your pockets and make it a british championship god I'm mad
Was anglesey ever a bsb circuit? I agree about brands indy, if you're going there it has to be the gp circuit as good as the racing was today. Great atmosphere as always though. Proper british summer race day. Hope the lad who had a nasty spill at the top of paddock hill early on was ok, looked horrible. Absolutely destroyed the barriers. it was strange we saw about 4 crashes where ive never seen a crash today all in that same spot, including one lad who took another rider out as they were waving to the grandstands after the race had finished lol. Usually its halfway down the hill you usually see them crash. Highlight has to be the pocket rocket dry bumming ellison for race 1 though. Good times.
No. It's a great shame too. As for the live coverage being on Quest, I fail to see the issue. I saw it all
I didn't know it had moved. Saturdays had been recorded so watched that then flicked on later to watch and found tennis and cycling. Scrolled through the guide found it on as highlights about 8pm so set it to record. Has it moved channel or is this a one off with it being shown elsewhere?
It's a deal Eurosport and Quest (Sky 144) put together at the start of the season so that a few rounds would be available on freeview. I think they're trying to appeal to a wider audience. It was mentioned at the start of the season but I can't remember exactly where.
quest is eurosport's sister channel and they show the superbikes on there when far more important stuff like womens tennis is on
How do I slightly not believe you? You must be thinking of the endless drivelling hours of men's golf x
Yes you are right Anglesey was not a bsb circuit but it should be we need different tracks to make it more interesting. They go to Brands three times if the other circuits are not up to scratch why don't they get there hands in there pockets and make them I no rider safety is paramount to these issues. Anyway back to quest yes we can still see it but the picture quality is not good this is down to the bandwidth they use on this channel with it as you say there sister channel I no it takes a lot of setup to do this as I had a tour of this last year at cadwell
Just been watching some of this on catch up - corking ride by Luke Jones on the 2012 Daytona in the Supersport Sunday race
Watching the last hour of the Sunday coverage - Quest are showing the Superbikes from donnington this weekend too! Set to record!
