Hey guys and ladies. Looking at some upgraded calipers to go with my new rcs would these fit with caliper spacers http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/301832803795
Anyone know the criteria for brembo calipers to fit a 675 then? Eg can you take some off a Ducati 1098/1199 or is there a specific model needed for the forks/brake discs on a 2009 Daytona...️
All the 675 forks are/need 108mm calipers so only calipers from Yamaha,Suzuki and Honda will fit. Any models like the 675R or anything with ohlins forks is 100mm so only ducati's and mv, ktm calipers will fit
Hi, is there any real benefit to changing to the M4 caliper? is there that much noticeable difference between them and the nissan calipers with an upgraded master cylinder? cheers Mut
The brembos have a bigger piston I believe so less pressure required to stop with an upgraded M/C The nissins are amazing with stock master upgraded lines and pads, but serious breaking its easier to match brake set up saves fade etc
As long as they are better than the non brembo gixer ones, I have a set here still off a K5 1000 I broke and wouldnt put those on anything again
The newer ones (k9 on?) are meant to be, but tbh if you have ised Ducati monoblocs, most stuff is substandard My std k5 calipers with race pads, braided hoses and a serviced 19x20 bramebo mc would still fade after a few laps. Was also running race floating discs. Either there was a leak somwhere (fluid wasnt getting out tho) or calipers. I put it down to calipers being the weakspot. Not ridden y triumph yet so no idea how the nissin monblocs compare
The 2011 gsxr ones are brembos they just have lesser metal Pistons. The very early "brembos" that came on special gsxrs like the08-10 busa they were crap
The Nissin mono's are definitely every bit as good as the Brembo mono's were on my Ducati 848Evo. Didn't think so at first until I changed pads but convinced now. Possibly even better but hard to say for sure as I'd been riding my Duke on older pads before getting the Daytona
