What a weekend!!!!!!!!!! Sun was shining, the Bike actually worked!!! BIG BIG BIG thanks to all the T3 Guys who have helped me more than I could have imagined after all the bike troubles I had from the other Racing company!!!! The bike runs sweet as a nut....... AT LAST only took a year Had to get used to Brands as never raced there, I held my own in the Pre Nat 600 Qualled 17th/38 and had a 17th, 16th, 19th and 13th. Which wasn't bad as I was TERRIBLE at Clearways just couldn't get good drive out of the corner, I lost a good 1 to 2 secs there alone!! Sitting 4th in our Championship and can't wait for the rest of the season!! https://www.675.cc/upload/?v=191244979627773.jpg
Good stuff there. It's always nice to get the first meeting of the season out of the way. Best o luck for the rest of the season.
You did well mate, as you know I was in Pitty's camp all weekend and you could see from the times that there were some fast guys in that series this year, as the times were tumbling. You got some great results, going to be a good year this, bikes looks sweat roll on Donny.
Thanks guys means a lot!!! Yep the standard this year is high lads lapping around the 50 sec mark and supposed to be novices??? lol Can not wait for Donny!!!
Thundersport Pre National 600 is a high quality entry. Whilst there are novices out there I wouldn't say it's a novice championship as such. Plenty decent 'clubmen' out there running. My mate did a couple of Sportsman Elite 600 last year, I was on the spanners. I was very impressed with the Pre National 600 class. A lot of quick lads and lasses out there. The Sportsman Elite is a cut above that. Some people compete in both. They're the best club 600 grids in the country.
My mate Dave struggled to get inside the top 20. He's won races at other clubs. Me, well I don't think I'd see which way they went
should have said you were down dude! would have come to say hello! and again about time your luck changed you poor sod!
Ah sorry Mickey didn't realise would have been good to have a chat as well, Yeah looking good for 2014 fingers crossed!!
What gearing were you running at brands to get 50's? 16/47? Racing this weekend coming.... Hottrax endurance
I ran 15 47 but i was slow round clearways so might be worth going a tad longer? My best was a 53 odd so not that great :-/ lol
