    Alright guys & gals,
    Here's another one of those 'my bike won't start' threads....

    So, I installed an Annitori Quickshifter on the girlfriends Daytona a few nights ago and can't start the bike since. The fuel pump starts, bike will crank but it seems like there is no spark. It sounds like i'm getting some backfiring (low frequency thump around the airbox occasionally.

    A few things I'm sure of;
    -The battery is fine
    -The CPS looks good (I have RPM feedback when cranking over in TuneECU)
    -The connections for the coils & injectors appear to be in the correct order

    What do you think I should look at next? Do you think the Annitori loom has an issue? I've tried running the bike with the Annitori 'bridging link' in and out with no difference.

    Why don’t you take the quickshifter off. Put everything back the way it was and see if it fires up

    That way you can know for sure it’s the QS or loom

    Edited to add just had a look at the annitori

    You probably would of saved a lot of hassle with a Triumph QS as there is a dedicated plug for it on the loom instead of going onto the coils

    Hey mate,

    Thanks for the reply. I ended up finding that the QS harness, instead of cutting the common negative return it was wired backwards and was linking all of the coil ignition signals. Re-wired the loom and all is ok now.
