can someone please advise on where the banjo bolt is located - trying to solve flickering oil lamp issue diagram or photo would be very useful
Good morning @Lenvanh . I am struggling to know how to advise you on this.: The "oil light" is usually an engine warning light relating to internal engine oil pressure, however (to my mind) banjo bolts on our bikes are usually connective couplings on the hydraulic braking system. What is leading you to ask the question please.??
Hi My oil light flickers on idle. This seems to be a know problem and is often caused by some blockage on the oil path where a banjo bolt goes in the engine and feeds the oil pipe in the direction of the oil pressure switch. See more about this on the following forum https://www.triumphrat.net/posts/2596487/ Hope this clarifies..
Different bike entirely, air cooled Bonneville with external oil cooler and pipes, doesn't apply to our bikes. I would suggest checking the electrical connection on the oil pressure switch or the switch itself.
Thanks , already checked. The ask is ...does anyone have a picture of where the banjo bolt is located on a triumph daytona 675 (2007)
As I pointed out in my previous reply Lenvanh, there are no banjo bolts on the std Daytona 675 engine afik. This thread shows the sump & oil pump, maybe that will help.: https://www.675.cc/threads/sump-gasket-upgrade-for-pre-08-bikes.27497/ I do recall seeing a race prepared Daytona 675 a few years ago, with an Oil Cooler Radiator, that had banjo connections on the flow & return pipes to the Oil Radiator. I believe that is the pressure relief valve. The drawing you posted appears to show the original design version (pre sump baffle upgrade type).
