hi everyone my name is Bel and I'm a carbon addict. I'm 12 miles outside Edinburgh. It's been 2 weeks since I purchased a bit of carbon for the Graphite R. I know Dodge from another forum and Hazza was nice enough to show me the fantastic carbon Daytona yet again another forum. Bits I have changed so far: - Arrow slipons - Carbon: extended front mudguard, flyscreen, bellypan, radiator guards, engine protection kit, chain guard, chain guard, lower chainguard, rear mudguard and seat cowl. Next bits to arrive: carbon seat panels, carbon rear light surround, carbon sprocket cover. And in the pipeline: got a seat I will be re-upholstered with gel and a custom cover, tank has been resprayed to matte black but might get wrapped in carbon, carbon frame and swingarm protection. My pride and joy Our 1st Scotland meet Our meet in the lake district. Our last meet
I'm about to start reading through the forum. That's the 3rd Street triple/Triumph forum I part of now.
...and it's the best Welcome on board. I think you need therapy for that carbon addiction Where was the Lakes pic taken? Ed
It was taken at Ullswater in the Lake district. I have tons of photos, I'll get a thread up somewhere to share them. I have had my Street since May last year and have done 8500 miles since then. I have seen most of Scotland on it and now I'm starting to go into England more often. We have a ride meet on the 28th of the this month if anyone is interested in meeting fellow Street triple owners. It will be in Galloway forest area. A modest speed ride and lunch to meet new people.
HI Bel Welcome along. The bike looks sweet, I brought some carbon Akrapovics for my R i do like a bit of carbon.
Welcome and it looks like you can give Hazza a run for her money when it comes to carbon Do you have carbon pants like Hazza lol
Hazza is way in front with the tank. The other forum I'm part of use IP Performance motorcycles to make our stuff. I'm waiting on my next delivery and then we have a few modified parts in the pipeline that you can't find anywhere else in the world They are local (UK) so we support them as far as we can plus it's a bonus we get discounts as a forum. One of you guys should contact them as a representative for this forum to get Daytona/Street triple parts and discounts. Here is a example of what we have already got through IP that you can't find anywhere else. You know people attach the fender extender on the front mudguard to help with the crap being flung up. Well I had the idea what if you could actually make a fender where the fender extender is already built in. So I found this UK based company off Ebay and they designed and perfected the item. After changing manufacturer half-way through eventually we have this fantastic mod specially made for us. So here's last year's project that was completed earlier this year. Extended front mudguard (fits Daytona as well). And our next big project IP is working on for us, it's almost there but needs refining before it can be manufactured (Hazza has seen these already, also will fit Daytona). Other mod bits in the pipeline are a tank wrap. Basically 2 halves that will wrap a tank. We're still trying to find a solution of making the two halves meet seamlessly. IP has my spare tank and will get it moulded in fibre glass so they have the 2 halves and then refine it from there before it gets made in carbon fibre. A extended chain guard to stop the fling up from the chain. IP has tried to make it but it came out funny everytime. I am trying it this time and will see how it comes out. I'm not technical so it might not work. Carbon bowls for the Street Triple headlights. Tank petrol caps cover. Tank strip (for jacket zip). What parts are you guys after that you can't find anywhere else? So far they have loads of Daytona and Street Triple bits. Look here: Daytona-http://www.triumph675.net/forum/showthread.php?t=44686&page=2 or Street-Triplehttp://www.street-triple.co.uk/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=4577.0 Goodness I can't think of the others now. Will try to remember what else we have spoken to them about.
