I wouldn't want to carry it very far let alone pay the Post Office to either :)

  3. Tried PMing you Red. Where are you exactly in Essex? I'll check the distance from me.

Yeh exactly mate, just in case people aren’t aware these chains are supposed to be un-croppable and they are seriously heavy duty.

    Nightmare lucky man

I actually need one next week for my insurance to be valid on the new policy!

Red would you recommend any other chains?
I heard the series 4 isn't very portable

  12. Yeah this for sure
Great pieces of kit, I have a couple - you're mates might think to themselves "hey check out this hefty chain i got for £50, look how thick it is, it's solid!"
Well they will be blown away by the Almax gear! It's proper good kit, it makes what people think are thick chains look like pedal bike locks lol

I live local to the bloke, Alex I think he's called.
I rang him up and he allowed me to go to his place and collect it to save me the hassle and cost of postage :)
He gave me alot of advice too

Gents I appreciate the advice. This forum has a good bunch of lads on it!

It's a shame we have to live in a world where our prized two wheeled time machine / light speed bikes are so sought after.. Seems this Almax brand is not messing about

i have some xena chains which are seriously heavy duty too.
    the 2m one is 8kg
thats bloody heavy when i had to carry it home on the train one day..
so the almax 2.5 must be heavier

  15. The squire 16mm chain fits through the swing arm nicely. It's also pretty strong although not as tough as a 19mm chain, obviously
