    Hi All

I've tried the search and have an inkling that this question has been asked before.

I'm doing a service on my forks on a 2014 D675R, the oil is bought, the new seals are in and I'm about to fill with oil and set the air gap.

Now here is the question; the manual states that the gap should be 150mm but when I spoke to the good suspension people (Bradford) they recommended a 120mm air gap. 30mm seems like a big difference and I want to make sure I am doing the right thing, I'm inclined to taking the advice and set the gap to 120mm but reach out to you for some advice, guidance and some logic around adding 30mm of extra oil.

Your kind guidance is greatly appreciated. Cheers

Not sure on the newer 675s but the gen 2 air gap was a mere 72mm, however advice from Clive wood suggested 110mm which is way nicer. Never thought to go further, that's a lot of air in the forks
