Would anyone like to step forward to organise our annual weekend get together this year? Looking for someone who has some good routes in their area, can plan out a day of riding with some stops, and locate a Premier Inn, Travelodge, Holiday Inn or similar nearby. Sometime around June will be ideal, and anywhere in the country is fine for those of us willing to travel for the weekend social. Come on team 675, let’s see what you’ve got
@cpszx A great idea and a great start to the year! I'm in. Happy to go wherever the first volunteer threatens to take us. If there's no volunteer a rethink will be needed if we're to have a meetup this year. No pressure folks as those who were there last year know it was a laugh...but there's no expectation things will go to plan... It'd be great to see everyone again. Keep ahold.

Can't even plan taking the bike around the block FFS. with some stops... I'll need a toilet stop every 3 minutes. locate a Premier Inn, Travelodge, Holiday Inn or similar nearby... You wouldn't speak to me ever again if I booked something in Downtown Didcot. Other than that, I'm in (if someone more capable than me can organise it).
It's looking like Janey's backroad tour of public conveniences in Downtown Didcot is the winning bid at the moment We are here to help if anyone has half an idea or proposal for their local area, you don't have to do it alone.
It's a great point @cpszx . I've organised one oop north (2019) which was successful but perhaps a little too far towards the pole for our Southern brethren to repeat . Something darn sarf might be the ticket? I'm happy to travel to keep the dream alive! It's genuinely straightforward... just pick a premier Inn and lead a ride out. If I can do it... anyone can. And of course always nice to see new places. Craig and I would certainly help if it were requested . Cheers folks.
