Good evening all. Just off the phone to @cpszx .... Booked the Premier Inn, Peterborough (Hampton's) for week end 7-9.7.23 It seems to have come down to £132 for a double room. Haven't bothered booking breakfast or dinner etc as I'd rather wait and see who is coming and see if we can please everyone . The more the merrier. Not finalised yet. Hopefully some exploration and test rides over the next month or so will build up the details. Stay around Rutland area? Head across to coast? Go further afield? Who knows... Avoiding average speed sections and some of the rubbish roads means possibly venturing onto some single lanes and obscure back roads, so will have to check them out a bit, so you Daytona riders do not complain too much Previous fests have had some real eye openers, mountain goat tracks, farmers fields, forest trails etc, so i have to keep up the trend if i can
I've booked the D675 for an MOT in anticipation . Probably needs tyres. Probably needs a valve service. Blah. I'll see if a large breakfast each day will compensate for a lack of preparation

Will be checking part of the route out this weekend, the bits around Rutland area. There are a couple of roads that the satnav has plotted that i havent used much, so just making sure they are not tooooo rural

Ok, so that part of the route needs a little tweaking… Just as well i was on the GSA some minor changes to the return leg will be made. Needs to be a fuel stop half way, so will work that out. next week, i will check the first half out. hope you are ready for a long day in the saddle
