I use Ghostbikes, Black Pro Range adjustable height headstock stand and adjustable height rear stand, and happy with the quality and function of both. Cheap enough and made in China... although the G tech and Harris are sweet, I wouldn't fancy leaving £300 of stands alone in the garage when out on track!
Hi lads, just wanted to give some feedback on the stands. Spoke to Gavin at Geetech, lovely lad. Unfortunately the turn around time is four weeks. Personally I couldn't wait that long. Seems the 675 has an odd fork stanchion set up that makes using a lower fork stand tricky. The axle pinch bolts are only on the right side as the axle screws into the left one. This effectively makes the forks a slightly different length. So seems the head stock lift is the best way to go. Looked at all sorts from Geetech to Harris and even pit bull in the states. Then I found a review of Moto GP paddock stands. MCN have been singing its praises for years. So after a bit of research I bought a set. Front stand was £66.00 rear was £45.00. They arrived today and am I a very happy man. It really is a quality piece of kit. Wrapped perfectly and arrived in Spain in three days. Minimum assembly and rock solid. Only thing I did notice …(because I notice everything) was that the nylock wheel nuts were not nipped up properly. Apart from that it's perfect.

Can't really see in the pics, is the stand touching the plastic under your headlights? My current yoke stand does and has marked it quiet badly, I know the gee tech misses the plastics
As far as I know the only time a yoke stand touches the nose cowl is if you use the wrong size pin. The pins have a tapered edge to to support the bike once the pin is inserted. Yes I can be tricky locating the pin without touching the plastics so I bought a sheet of sticky carbon fibre. Just cut it to size and stuck it in position. Job done!
If you have the correct size pin then it must just be an odd shaped stand? What brand is it? The one I have has plenty of room between the stand and the bike.
