Hello all. I was unfortunate enough to have a car hit my bike and cause not a lot of damage. Insurance want to write off as a CAT N. I’m the third owner of the bike and it’s done just over 24,000 miles. I have all the pictures of the damage. It really wouldn’t cost much to have her looking nice. It has nearly new MICHELIN ROAD 6 tyres with 5mm on the front and 6mm on the rear.

I’m based in Bedfordshire, near the A1.

Anyway is there interest in buying the bike if I pay the scrapage cost to the insurance company? If there is get in contact.

    modifications wise it has:

    healtech quick shifter
    R&G brake guard
    Carbon mudguard
    Upgraded LED indicators
    R&G tail tidy
    R&G crash protectors (engine, clutch)
    R&G adjustable rear sets
Upgraded exhaust and map done by triumph

I have the OEM rear sets, but it’s fitted with the R&G ones. I also have the OEM pillion pegs.

The bike was previously crashed by me on a track day when I low sided. It has road rash to the frame, swing arm and rear wheel. I replaced all the fairings, got them sprayed black and had the tank sprayed black.

I'm not looking for a lot. Maybe £2200. That way the insurance pay out and the cost of sale gets me closer to what I paid for it. If there is no interest I’ll probably just take the full insurance amount. I could do with the money otherwise I’d just pay the scrapage, and repair it myself.

Feel free to message me. Happy to have a telephone conversation with anyone interested. I have detailed pictures of any damage. The picture below has been taken after the most recent incident.
