Bought this to come back to racing after a bad crash in 2002 on my SV. This bike had been dropped leaving the dealership w/4 miles on it. Damage was only to items I would remove for the track so I jumped on it! I have run it at a few track days but only got to one in 2009 and none so far this year. I have faced the reality that at 58 years old I am not going to race this bike. It handles flawlessly, feels like my SV on steroids and sounds glorious! The bad: Scratches on right side clutch cover. Repaired dent on right side of the protruding part of the tank. Slight dent on top left of tank from my knee while loading the bike. Exhaust note a bit MotoGP inspired. Passed AHRMA sound meter @ Mid Ohio. It gets both high praise and scowls depending on the person. No street bodywork. Was repairable so I sold it. Have lights, etc. Rattle can paint job by me. The good: Always kept indoors. Nice view from the bar. Clear Virginia title. Have current tags and insurance though it has never seen the street. Valid factory warranty. Shop manual.
