Some moron in his car turned across my path last minute and went straight into the side of him. Bike h has 3.5k damage or might be a write off. Waiting to see. Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
That sucks, you ok? £3.5k of damage? Be sure they give the head a good visual inspection / xray if they're going to give you it back, very easy to crack the frame if you take a big front impact.
Yeah I'm alright. Just lost it a bit at the guy and have realised since then that its left my nerves a bit raw (lost it yesterday and went nuts chasing some guy who had done a hit and run). Pretty sure my garage doesn't have an x-ray machine Good point though if I get it fixed is that all the parts on mine would be brand new and I could get custom ones (ie replace standard mirrors with new ones, indicators with the proton ones, tail tidy with the custom one, etc etc )
Fair play for chasing a hit and run! I was in a car crash a couple of months ago, I was overtaking someone and they just swung into me pushing me into oncoming traffic. Quite how I got out of the car I don't know, the rav4 that hit my side needed it's doors cutting off to get the person out, and all I got was a bit of a sore neck - very lucky. Bastard that caused the problem didn't stop, wish someone had chased them down as I wouldn't need to sell my bike if they'd stopped!
