    Hi,

Thanks, the rain was pretty good on the way back. Go caught in a couple of small showers but they didn't last long. Traffic was the annoying part, I was trying to follow the car back but in the end I said sod it and filtered through and let him suffer. Probably not a good idea since I wasn't sure if the car was ok with the overheating problem but after wiring the fan up to be on constantly it was fine. lol

I should really buy a decent car but I prefer the bike and just have have the car for emergencies.

I doubt I'll make the meet this year though although I may change my mind if I have a good few weeks to cover the cost of the bike :p

  2. Well done on the sale Mark. I hope you pointed the new owner this way!!

Errr.. did you read the thread

Peeps - I normally lock threads when things have sold so as to make sure that this section is for sale stuff only and interesting convo goes in the appropriate place.

I'm in two minds as this is quite an interesting thread. What do you think?

I vote leave it open, not least because I was run off the road the other day in my car so am now carless.

The bike might have to go to get back in a cage :(

I was going to suggest it's down to the original poster as to whether to leave it open since it got massively derailed!

So I vote leave it open too :)

To make a very long story short, it was a fairly modified car. All performance modifications were declared (wheels, suspension, engine mods etc) but they're trying to wiggle out of the claim because I didn't mention the bucket seat (came with the car, just didn't think to mention it) and some blue hosing I used to replace the original perished stuff!

Needless to say it's just an insurance company being an insurance company, but it's still a mess and I've been carless for over a month!

I might roll it out of the garage this weekend and take some photos of the 'crash' damage as that seems to be putting a lot of people off (even though I've a brand new set of fairing sitting in the loft)

Or, do I just put the new fairing on and pretend it never happened... I'm too honest to do that :(

Due to insurance companies being the work of the devil, she's still up for sale. £4500 :(

Put up some pics, if mine is a write off I might be after a new yellow one, esp if you're going to throw in the carbon for that money ;) (I think thats how much I'm gonna be getting paid out)
